Why Train?
Apart from the fun you will have, giving your puppy or young dog positive training experiences will have many benefits for both of you including -
- Your young one will learn to behave appropriately around people and dogs of all ages and sizes, an important skill that will smooth their path through life.
- The experience of working together with your dog will help to develop the bond between you.
- Many of the behaviours learned at training will increase the safety of your dog when it is out and about with you.
- The mental stimulation provided by learning new behaviours will benefit any dog's general happiness and contentment.

Training Classes
The training classes are structured into three different levels and each dog receives a certificate as they graduate to the next level.
Level 1 Puppy / Beginners Class, 1.30 pm to 2.30 pm – this includes socialisation, basic commands such as sit, down and stay, walking to heel and recall
Level 2 Intermediate, 2.30pm to 3.30pm – this level builds on the commands learned in Level 1, for example, by increasing the distance and time of a stay and by more advanced heel work and also gives the dogs mental stimulation by introducing new tasks such as fetch, the emergency stop and “finishes”
Level 3 Advanced, 3.30pm to 4.30 pm – this about building on and consolidating all that has gone before with the addition of different activities to maintain the dogs interest. These activities include scent training, send aways and using buzzers as a brain training activity.
After every class there is optional homework to give you and your companion guidance to help practice what you have learned in different environments.
The sessions are organised into modules that last for 7 weeks and the fee for each module, payable in advance, is £56.
If you cannot make the Monday group training sessions, one to one puppy/dog training sessions available to fit in with your schedule - evenings and weekends available. All enquiries or to book, please contact Elizabeth

"Hugely entertaining and incredibly worthwhile. It's a joy to watch the dogs growing in understanding and working so very hard to be the best they can be."
Claudia, Uckfield.
"I have known Elizabeth as my dog trainer for just short of 2 years. She is patient and consistent and the dogs all love and respect her. She accounts for all levels and never disrespects any short comings in progress, and actually works on this encouraging all. Her classes are informal and we all get on and look forward to the class for our dogs to meet socially and owners to have a natter."
Janet, Battle
